Here you will find my research of Pine Barren history, including the forgotten towns of Herman City, Crowleytown, and Bulltown near the restored historic village of Batsto. Since 1981, my main focus is the history of Herman City, and I have traced its history to Brooklyn, New York. While my good friend and archeologist Budd Wilson has guided me over the years, I have also done much primary research. I have Koster family letters recovered from the Herman City Hotel before fire destroyed it in 1987. I have made presentations to the Batsto Citizens Committee and the Hammonton Historical Society.
